LAKESIDE DRIVE REHABILITATION

Construction is substantially complete. Minor traffic control between Evan Creek Drive and McCarran Boulevard for punch list items to be done.

PARK LANE RAPID STATION PROJECT

Construction is in progress on the RAPID Station on Virginia Street eastside just south of Plumb Lane. Traffic controls are in place along northbound Virginia Street with lane shifts.

Please use caution in construction zones for the safety of the public and the construction workers.

 

E PRATER WAY REHABILITATION

Construction is in progress on E Prater Way between McCarran Boulevard and Sparks Boulevard. The project is expected to take about six months to complete.
Two-way traffic will continue within the construction zone, with one lane in each direction.

The RTC appreciates the community’s patience during the construction process.

 

SUN VALLEY BOULEVARD MULTI-MODAL IMPROVEMENTS – PHASE 1: 7TH AVENUE TO HIGHLAND RANCH PARKWAY

    • Southbound traffic closed between 7th Avenue and Highland Ranch Parkway

    • Intermittent closures (no access) at intersections:
      • Arapaho Drive
      • Leon Drive

  • Highland Ranch Parkway Intersection
    • Intermittent closures, but open during peak commute periods.

VIRGINIA STREET BUS RAPID TRANSIT EXTENSION

North Virginia Street:

  • Maple Street to 8th Street: North Virginia Street within this open to traffic with isolated and intermeidan shoulder and/or lane closures. Look for detour signage as appropriate.
  • 8th Street to 9th Street: North Virginia Street within this segment is closed to southbound traffic. Southbound is detoured at 9th to Sierra Street. Look for detour signage as appropriate.
  • 9th Street to 15th Street: traffic is one-lane in each direction. Some on-street parking is closed.
  • 15th Street to Sierra Street/Comstock Drive Intersection: traffic is reduced to one-way northbound direction only. Southbound traffic in this area is detoured at Sierra Street and utilizes 15th Street back to North Virginia Street. This closure is anticipated to be in place until the project is completed this fall.
  • 8th Street and 9th Street at North Virginia Street: Look for construction signage as appropriate or isolated lane or shoulder closures.

South Virginia Street:

  • Plumb Lane to Liberty Street: two-way traffic with isolated shoulder and street parking closures to work on final punch list work.
