INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (ITS) PHASE 4 PROJECT

Beginning the week of September 26th Q&D will begin patching roadway and sidewalk along Sharlands Avenue from Robb Drive to Mae Anne Avenue. Q&D will also be patching roadway and small sections of sidewalk along Double R Boulevard from Sanhill to South Meadows. Lane and shoulder closures will be in place for this work.
ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

Phase 1 – Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):
- Drivers may see daily intermittent shoulder and lane closures:
- Pyramid Way – between 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Sullivan Lane and Rock Boulevard – during working hours
- Rock Boulevard and 12th Street might have some intersection closures with detours.
- Construction crews working on Saturdays through the end of November 2022.
- Underground work including underground lighting conduits, planter and install irrigation, form and pour sidewalk concrete and install privacy wall (post and panels)
- Traffic Swap (to new pavement) north side of Oddie Boulevard.
- One lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard.

PECKHAM LANE REHABILITATION PROJECT

Roadway rehabilitation of Peckham Lane between South Virginia Street and Baker Lane have begun and will continue through October 2022. Detours will be in place around the vicinity of the project.
Roadway pavement operations will begin on October 12th and end on October 21st. Peckham Lane between S. Virginia Street and Baker Lane will be closed. Business access to Atlantis and Old Town Mall will be via. S. Virginia Street. The intersection of Peckham Lane and Baker Lane will be intermittently closed.
SKY VISTA WIDENING AND REHABILITATION PROJECT

SPARKS BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – SOUTH PHASE

Granite Construction Company is working in both the southbound and northbound lanes as well as outside shoulders along Sparks Boulevard between Lincoln Way and Greg Street. Nightly lane closures will reduce traffic to one lane in the southbound direction between Lincoln Way and Greg Street and in the northbound direction between Greg Street and I-80 eastbound off-ramp. Daytime single-lane closures will also be in place on Sparks Boulevard in the southbound direction between Kleppe Lane and Greg Street from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The free right turn lane from southbound Sparks Boulevard to westbound Greg Street will be closed for the placement and curing of concrete pavement. Trucks will be restricted from making this right turn movement and will be detoured to Greg Street via Vista Boulevard.
Drivers should expect delays during the morning commute, look for signs and traffic control devices. Please drive with caution.
TE SPOT 10 – SOUTH PROJECT

Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of 4th Street and Woodland Avenue has begun. Lane, shoulder closures and detours will be in place. The first phase of this project will be relocation of overhead utilities to underground with the roundabout construction starting spring 2023.
