Construction has been classified as an essential service by Governor Sisolak. Construction crews have implemented safety and social-distancing precautions.

PARK LANE RAPID STATION

Construction is completed waiting on NVE to install transformer and provide power to the RAPID Station on Virginia Street eastside just south of Plumb Lane.

Please use caution in construction zones for the safety of the public and the construction workers.

 

E PRATER WAY REHABILITATION

Construction is in progress on E Prater Way between McCarran Boulevard and Sparks Boulevard. The project is expected to take about six months to complete.

Two-way traffic will continue within the construction zone, with one lane in each direction.

The RTC appreciates the community’s patience during the construction process.

 

SUN VALLEY BOULEVARD MULTI-MODAL IMPROVEMENTS – PHASE 1: 7TH AVENUE TO HIGHLAND RANCH PARKWAY

Construction in progress: ADA Ramps, Curb & Gutter, Sidewalk and Drainage improvements.

Sun Valley Boulevard:

    • Intermittent road sections with one lane closed, two-way traffic with flaggers during construction hours.
    • Intermittent shoulder closures.
  • 7th Ave:
    • Utility underground and signal base work.
    • Intermittent lane and shoulder closures with detours.

 

VIRGINIA STREET BUS RAPID TRANSIT EXTENSION

North Virginia Street:

  • Maple Street to North of Roundabout – is open to traffic with isolated and shoulder and/or lane closures to work on final project elements. Look for construction signage and detours as appropriate.

South Virginia Street:

  • Plumb Lane to Liberty Street – open to two-way traffic with isolated shoulder and street parking closures to work on final punch list work.
