INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (ITS) PHASE 4 PROJECT

Roadway work will continue on Prater Way between Pyramid Way and 4th Street. Drivers should anticipate lane and shoulder closures throughout November.

ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

Phase 1 – Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):

  • Construction crews will be working on Saturdays through the end of November 2022.
  • Traffic changeover to new pavement, north side of Oddie Boulevard.
  • One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard.
  • Milling and paving operations:
    • Detours – half intersection closures (south side) at Rock Boulevard and 12th Street from November 10th through December 2nd
    • Intersections open during Thanksgiving Holiday

PECKHAM LANE REHABILITATION PROJECT

SPARKS BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – SOUTH PHASE

Granite Construction Company is working in both the southbound and northbound lanes along Sparks Boulevard between Lincoln Way and Greg Street. Daytime and nighttime single-lane closures will be in place in both the northbound and southbound directions between Greg Street and the I-80 eastbound off-ramp.

Drivers should expect delays during the morning commute, look for signs and traffic control devices. Please drive with caution.

TE SPOT 10 – SOUTH PROJECT

Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of 4th Street and Woodland Avenue has begun. Traffic lane shoulder closures and detours will occur at various times throughout the project. Currently, work includes relocation of overhead utilities to underground. Please observe all traffic control, work zone speed limits and flaggers. The construction of the roundabout will begin in the Spring of 2023.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION (TSI) 22-01 PROJECT

Construction is on hold for procurement of traffic signal equipment. No traffic control in place at this time.
