HOLCOMB AVENUE REHABILITATION PROJECT

Construction crews working on the east side of Holcomb Avenue between Burns Street and Liberty Street. Northbound traffic on Holcomb will be shifted and one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained. Parking on street will be limited within areas of improvements and driveways will be temporarily impacted during construction. Short traffic delays and detours may occur.

INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (ITS) PHASE 4 PROJECT

Minor shoulder closures may occur for final construction items.

ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

Phase 1 – Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):

  • One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard.
  • Construction crews working on center median (concrete) and landscaping.

Phase 2 & 3 – Sullivan Lane (Sparks) to Sutro Street (Reno):

  • One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard.
  • Intermittent traffic lane shifts during construction hours.
  • Construction crews are continuing to work on installing underground light conduit, retaining wall, signals and fence removals. Additional construction crews will work on storm drain installations.
  • New traffic pattern – travel lanes (one in each direction) shifted to the south side of Oddie Boulevard from Sullivan Road to east of US-395 ramps.

SKY VISTA WIDENING AND REHABILITATION PROJECT

SPARKS BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – SOUTH PHASE

A single lane and shoulder closure will be in place northbound between Greg Street and the I80 Eastbound Ramps.

SUTRO STREET AND ENTERPRISE ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT

Sutro Street – 9th Street to Oddie Boulevard:

  • Only northbound traffic lane open. Southbound traffic lane closed until May 19th.
  • Paving operations (weather permitting).
  • Sutro/9th Street intersection closure – weekend of July 8th.

Enterprise Road – Evans Avenue to Valley Road:

  • Road closed – June 5th through June 30th.

TE SPOT 10 – SOUTH PROJECT (ROUNDABOUT INSTALLATION AT WOODLAND AVENUE/4TH STREET)

Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Woodland Avenue and W. 4th Street has resumed. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of August 2023.

Currently, lane reconfigurations and two-way traffic control on W. 4th Street and Woodland Avenue have been installed and will be maintained through approximately May 26th. Intermittent flagging operations at this intersection could cause delays of up to 20 minutes.

Mesa Park Road from W. 4th Street to 500 feet north is closed until approximately May 26th, while construction of a retaining wall below Mesa Park Road, the 4th Street westbound lanes and the northern portion of the roundabout occurs.

Normal construction hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
