ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

Phase 1 – Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):
- One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard.
- Construction crews performing signal work, grade planters, landscaping and pave cycle track (weather permitting).
Phase 2 & 3 – Sullivan Lane (Sparks) to Sutro Street (Reno):
- Shoulder and lane closures during construction working hours.
- One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard.
- Construction crews are continuing to work on installing underground light conduit, retaining wall, signals and fence removals. Additional construction crews will work on storm drain installation.
- Mall Drive access closed until June. Detours to shopping center through Silverada and El Rancho accesses partially open (right-in/right-out) when feasible.
- New traffic pattern – travel lanes (one in each direction) shifted to the south side of Oddie Boulevard from Sullivan Road to east of US-395 ramps.

SPARKS BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – SOUTH PHASE

TE SPOT 10 – SOUTH PROJECT (ROUNDABOUT INSTALLATION AT WOODLAND AVENUE/4TH STREET)

Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Woodland Avenue and W. 4th Street will continue on Monday, March 27th. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of August 2023.
Starting on March 27th, the following changes in traffic configuration will occur:
- Mesa Park Road from W. 4th Street to 500 feet north will be closed, from March 27th to approximately May 26th, while construction of a retaining wall below Mesa Park Road occurs.
- Lane reconfigurations and two-way traffic control on W. 4th Street and Woodland Avenue will be installed and maintained from March 27th to approximately May 26th. Intermittent flagging operations at this intersection could cause delays of up to 20 minutes.
Normal construction hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
