BUS STOP IMPROVEMENT AND CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM – PHASE 3 PROJECT

RTC’s contractor, Sierra Nevada Construction, will be working on sidewalks and bus pads at the following locations:
- W 4th Street and Keystone Avenue
- E 2nd Street and Park Street
- Mill Street and Kirman Avenue (Renown)
- Valley Road and Highland Avenue
- Wedekind Road and Community Garden Apartments
- Silverada Boulevard and Orovada Street
- Moya Boulevard and 12085 Moya Boulevard
- York Way and Rock Boulevard
- Rock Boulevard and Vance Way
Drivers should expect lane and shoulder closures at these locations. Pedestrian detours will be provided and temporary alternative bus stops will be available to transit riders.
GOLDEN VALLEY AT BECKWOURTH – TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT

Titan Electrical will begin installation of traffic signal underground equipment on March 14, 2022. There will be intermittent lane, shoulder and sidewalk closures during Washoe County School District’s spring break, March 14-25, 2022.
LEMMON DRIVE SEGMENT 1 – US 395 TO MILITARY ROAD

MILL STREET COMPLETE STREET – 1-580 to MCCARRAN BOULEVARD

Spanish Springs Construction continues work on the south side of Mill Street between McCarran Boulevard and Telegraph. The two right eastbound lanes will be closed and eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane. Business and side street access will be maintained.
ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

El Rancho Drive – Greenbrae Drive to Oddie Boulevard (Sparks)
- Construction work is in progress and expected to continue until mid-April.
- removing and replacing median, sidewalk, curb/gutter and driveways.
- One lane in each direction will be maintained.
- Access will be maintained, but alternate routes are recommended.
- Detours in place starting on March 28 – April 1, 2022 – Roadwork activities.
Phase 1: Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks)
- Drivers may see intermittent shoulder and lane closures on Oddie Boulevard during daytime working hours.
- Construction crews are doing underground electrical work, excavating/forming/building/backfilling (front and back) retaining walls.

- Temporary striping for “Traffic Swap” (Oddie Boulevard westbound traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes
- Traffic Swap scheduled to start on March 21, 2022

RENO CONSOLIDATED 20-01 – MAYBERRY DRIVE, CALIFORNIA AVENUE, FIRST STREET

California Avenue – Hunter Lake Drive to Booth Street
California Avenue to westbound traffic between Booth Street and Mayberry Drive will be closed. Westbound traffic will be detoured at Booth Street to Foster Drive to Hunter Lake Drive to allow the contractor to complete water line adjustments that must be done prior to the roadway work.
Mayberry Drive – Memory Lane to California Avenue
RTC plans to reconfigure it to a four-way intersection with crosswalks, use roadway geometrics to slow traffic entering the neighborhood, and create fewer conflict points between pedestrians, bicycles and cars, creating a safer roadway. Also, rehabilitate the roadway and maintain sidewalk connectivity and existing bike lanes.
TE SPOT 10 – FUEL TAX

Work will resume on the TE Spot 10 – Fuel Tax Project on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the following locations:
Golden Valley Road & Estates Drive
Western Skies Drive & Brown Elementary School
Steamboat Parkway & Horse Ranch Road
Drivers should expect temporary lane and shoulder closures at these locations. Pedestrian detours may be present as crews complete sidewalk and striping at pedestrian crossings.
TE SPOT 10 – NORTH

Construction will be postponed until next spring for pavement slurry seal. The intersection is open for normal operations.
