KINGS ROW REHABILITATION PROJECT – PHASE 2 – WYOMING AVENUE TO MCCARRAN BOULVARD

  • Kings Row between Apollo Way and Wyoming Avenue is closed to through traffic. Traffic is detoured at Apollo Way back to Wyoming Avenue.
  • Kings Row is closed to northbound (uphill) traffic between McCarran Boulevard and Apollo Way. Traffic accessing Kings Row is encouraged to use the residential side streets and access the Kings Row area via McCarran Boulevard to Kings Row southbound or Wyoming Avenue and Conway Lane to the neighborhood streets.
  • Drivers should expect delays and rerouting when looking to access Kings Row neighborhood, look for signs and traffic control devices; please drive slowly. Pedestrian detours will be provided and temporary alternative bus stops will be available to transit riders.
  • On street parking is not allowed along Kings Row during construction working hours (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.); however, overnight parking within the work zone is permitted.

 

LEMMON DRIVE SEGMENT 1 – US 395 TO MILITARY ROAD

MILL STREET COMPLETE STREET – 1-580 to MCCARRAN BOULEVARD

Traffic Control Changes!
Spanish Springs Construction has begun work on the NORTH side of Mill Street between Rock Boulevard and Terminal Way. The two right westbound lanes will be closed and westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane. Expect delays during the morning and afternoon rush and consider alternate routes. Business and side street access will be maintained.

 

ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

Phase 1: Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):

  • Drivers may see daily intermittent shoulder and lane closures on Oddie Boulevard during daytime working hours.
  • Construction crews are performing drainage work, privacy screens’ footing excavation, posts/panels installation, removing backyard fences and installing light pole bases.
  • Roadwork activities:
    • Traffic Swap” (Oddie Boulevard westbound traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes.)
    • Sullivan Lane – Northside instersection closure – until Friday June 17, 2022.

RENO CONSOLIDATED 20-01 – MAYBERRY DRIVE, CALIFORNIA AVENUE, FIRST STREET

California Avenue – Hunter Lake Drive to Mayberry Drive

California Avenue is closed to through traffic.  Local traffic may access properties along California Avenue and Westfield Avenue from Hunter Lake Drive.

California Avenue and Mayberry Drive – Memory Lane to Booth Street

One lane in each direction is open to traffic.  Please slow down through construction zones for the safety of the community and workers.

 

RENO CONSOLIDATED 22-01 – SKY MOUNTAIN DRIVE, SKY VALLEY DRIVE

Traffic is now reversed to the counterclockwise direction allowing work on the other half of the roadway.  This week the contractor continues removing drives and sidewalk to be improved. Concrete work will begin.
