4TH STREET AND WOODLAND AVENUE ROUNDABOUT INSTALLATION

Construction of the eastbound travel lanes and roundabout has begun. Intermittent flagging operations at this intersection could cause delays of up to 20 minutes. Normal construction hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Mesa Park Road is open in the northbound/uphill direction only. The southbound/downhill direction on Mesa Park Road will remain closed through Phase 2 of construction. This closure has been extended through mid-September while construction of the following occurs:

  • 4th Street eastbound lanes and islands
  • Southern portion of the roundabout

The project is anticipated to be completed by Fall of 2023.

ARROWCREEK PARKWAY REHABILITATION PROJECT

Lane and shoulder closures will be in place on Arrowcreek Parkway, S. Virginia Street, and Damonte Ranch Parkway. Two-way traffic will be maintained on Arrowcreek Parkway, but watch for traffic shifts and expect delays.

Closure of the Zolezzi Lane at the Zolezzi Lane/Arrowcreek Parkway intersection Wednesday, July 26 through Thursday, July 27. Detour via Thomas Creek Road will be in place.

CALIFORNIA AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION-NEWLANDS CIRCLE TO ARLINGTON PROJECT

Construction begins Monday June 19, 2023.  Contractor is currently planning to maintain two-way traffic but expect delays.

HOLCOMB AVENUE REHABILITATION PROJECT

Traffic on Holcomb will be shifted and one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained.

Parking on street will be limited within areas of improvements and driveways will be temporarily impacted during construction. Short traffic delays and detours may occur.

INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (ITS) PHASE 4 PROJECT

Minor shoulder closures may occur for final construction items.

ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

  • One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard.

Phase 1 – Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):

  • Construction crews are finishing landscape work.

Phase 2 – Sullivan Lane (Sparks) to east of US 395 Ramps (Reno):

  • New traffic pattern – Two-way traffic on the northside of Oddie Boulevard
  • Construction crews working on southside of Oddie Boulevard installing underground conduit for street lighting, storm drain and retaining curb

Phase 3 – east of US 395 Ramps to Sutro Street (Reno):

  • Intermittent traffic lane shifts during construction hours.
  • Traffic swapped to the southside.
  • Montello Street (half intersection closure) Monday, July 24 through Friday, September 29. Detours in place.
  • Construction crews working on storm drain installation, underground conduit and concrete work (sidewalk and retaining curb)

Phase 4 – Sutro Street to I-80 Ramps (Reno):

  • Intermittent traffic lane shifts during construction hours.
