BUS STOP IMPROVEMENT AND CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM (ICP) PHASE 2

Construction is in progress at the following locations:

  • Lupin Drive and 8th Avenue
  • Lupin Drive and 7th Avenue
  • Lupin Drive and 6th Avenue
  • North Virginia Street at CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada
  • North Virginia Street at Wellington Way
  • York Way & Pyramid Way
  • Neil Road and Catalina Drive

Work will include roadside construction of bus stop pads and sidewalk.   Expect isolated shoulder closures and lane shifts.

 

GOLDEN VALLEY ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT – YORKSHIRE DRIVE TO NORTH VIRGINIA STREET

Construction will begin on Golden Valley Road between North Virginia Street and Yorkshire Drive beginning July 19, 2021.

Travelers should expect shoulder closures, lane shifts, and isolated one-way flagging during this stage of construction.

KINGS ROW REHABILITATION PROJECT – KEYSTONE AVENUE TO WYOMING AVENUE

Roadway and sidewalk rehabilitation work in progress.

  • Traffic control includes transition to temporary lanes along the south side of Kings Row.
  • On-street parking is closed on Kings Row – residents are encouraged to park in driveways or along side streets.
  • On-street parking is allowed during non-working hours (5 p.m. through 7 a.m.). Vehicles parked in the work zone during work hours will be towed.

 

SPARKS CONSOLIDATED 21-01 – PACKER WAY AND WILD ISLAND COURT

Minor traffic control will be in place on Packer Way.  Business access is open.

Work is substantially complete.  Work on punch list items will take place over the next couple of weeks.
