INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (ITS) PHASE 4 PROJECT

Roadway work will continue on Prater Way between Pyramid Way and 4th Street. Drivers should anticipate lane and shoulder closures throughout February.

ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

Phase 1 – Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):

  • One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard
  • Construction crews working on installing steel tube fence, signal work and grade planters (weather permitting)

Phase 2 & 3 – Sullivan Lane (Sparks) to Sutro Street (Reno):

  • Shoulder and lane closures during construction working hours
  • One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard
  • Construction crews working on installing underground light conduit, retaining wall and signals (weather permitting)
  • Mall Drive access closed until June – Detours to shopping center thru Silverada and El Rancho accesses

Pedestrian Bridge removal during the weekends of February 11th and 18th  –  Detours in place

SPARKS BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – SOUTH PHASE

Granite Construction Company will have traffic control in place on Sparks Boulevard in the northbound direction just south of Greg Street until installation of signal heads is complete.

TE SPOT 10 – SOUTH PROJECT (ROUNDABOUT INSTALLATION AT WOODLAND AVENUE/4TH STREET)

The project that includes the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of 4th Street and Woodland Avenue began last fall. There is no construction occurring at this time. Weather permitting, underground utility relocation work will resume late February. The construction of the roundabout will begin this spring. Please observe all traffic control, work zone speed limits and flaggers when construction is occurring.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION (TSI) 22-01 PROJECT

Work resumes at the intersection of South Meadows Parkway and Wilbur May Parkway. Traffic signal will be active on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Drivers should anticipate lane and shoulder closures.

Traffic Signal at Mill Street and Telegraph Street – construction is on hold for procurement of traffic signal equipment. No traffic control in place at this time.
