Underground construction continues at Mill St and Kirman Ave. Occasional lane and shoulder closures expected.

2/17 – 2/21
Underground construction will begin at 7th St. and Keystone Ave.. Occasional lane and shoulder closures expected.

2/24 – 3/6
Underground construction will begin at McCarran Blvd. and Neil Rd. Occasional lane and shoulder closures expected.

VIRGINIA STREET BUS RAPID TRANSIT EXTENSION

Virginia Street:
• Plumb Ln to Vassar St: two-way traffic with isolated shoulder and street parking closures to install project appurtenances.
• Liberty St to Vassar St: traffic is reduced to southbound direction only.
• Northbound through traffic is detoured at Holcomb Ave to Center St to Liberty St. Drivers can also use Mt Rose St to northbound Plumas St to Liberty St.
• Northbound traffic with the final destination within the construction zone can utilize one of the many side streets from Holcomb Ave, Center St, Plumas St, or Haskell St; which include:
o Pueblo St, Arroyo St, Vassar St, La Rue Ave, Martin St, Taylor St, Cheney St, St Lawrence Ave, Thoma St, California St, Moran St, and Stewart St.

Center Street and Mary Street at Virginia Street:
• Work in this area will require closure of either Center St or Mary St at Virginia St. During limited instances, both streets may be closed at the same time. Through traffic will remain open on Virginia St. Mary St and Center St remain open to traffic away from Virginia St.
• Detours will be in place.
