INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (ITS) Phase 4 PROJECT

Construction to began July 25, 2022 on Sharlands Avenue from Robb Drive to Mae Anne Avenue. Shoulder or lane closures are possible.

 

KINGS ROW REHABILITATION PROJECT – PHASE 2 – WYOMING AVENUE TO MCCARRAN BOULVARD

  • Kings Row is closed to northbound (uphill) traffic between McCarran Boulevard and Wyoming Avenue. Traffic accessing Kings Row is encouraged to use the residential side streets and access the Kings Row area via McCarran Boulevard to Kings Row southbound or Wyoming Avenue and Conway Lane to the neighborhood streets.
  • Drivers should expect delays and rerouting when looking to access Kings Row neighborhood, look for signs and traffic control devices; please drive slowly.
  • On street parking is not allowed along Kings Row during construction working hours (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.); however, overnight parking within the work zone is permitted.

 

LEMMON DRIVE SEGMENT 1 – US 395 TO MILITARY ROAD

MILL STREET COMPLETE STREET – MILL STREET FROM TERMINAL WAY TO MCCARRAN BOULEVARD

Spanish Springs Construction is nearing completion on this project and will address final cleanup and landscape issues throughout the project limits from Terminal Way to McCarran Boulevard. There will be isolated closures in the outside lanes. The southbound to westbound turnpocket at McCarran Boulevard will be closed for paving.

 

ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

Phase 1: Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):

  • Drivers may see daily intermittent shoulder and lane closures on Oddie Boulevard during daytime working hours.
  • Construction crews are installing light pole bases, constructing sidewalk, curb and gutter, grade planter/landscape and road median.
  • Roadwork activities:
    • Traffic Swap” (Oddie Boulevard westbound traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes.)
    • Pyramid Way: Lane closure between 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    • Paving Operations starting Monday, August 29, 2022  until Friday, Septemeber 16, 2022.
      • Rock Intersection closure with detour
      • 12th Intersection closure with detour
      • Sullivan lane closure

PECKHAM LANE REHABILITATION PROJECT

Roadway Rehabilitation of Peckham Lane between S. Vriginia Street and Baker Lane will begin on August 15th, 2022. Detours will be in place around the vicinity of the project.

 

RENO CONSOLIDATED 20-01 – MAYBERRY DRIVE, CALIFORNIA AVENUE, FIRST STREET

California Avenue – westbound traffic will be closed on California Avenue at Booth Street beginning on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 for roadway reconstruction. The detour is anticipated to be in effect for approximately six weeks. Westbound traffic will be detoured at Booth Street to Foster Drive to Hunter Lake Drive to Mayberry Drive to California Avenue. Eastbound traffic will not be affected.

California Avenue is closed to through traffic.  Local traffic may access properties along California Avenue and Westfield Avenue from Hunter Lake Drive.

 

RENO CONSOLIDATED 22-01 – SKY MOUNTAIN DRIVE, SKY VALLEY DRIVE

Two way traffic is back!
Paving and striping have been completed. The contractor will be making some repairs in various locations so continue to expect some traffic control activities throughout the project.

 

SKY VISTA WIDENING AND REHABILITATION PROJECT

Construction Sky Vista project will begin August 15, 2022.  Lane and shoulder closures will be in place.

 

TE SPOT 10 – SOUTH PROJECT

Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of 4th Street and Woodland Avenue will begin August 15, 2022. Lane closures and detours will be in place.

Construction of traffic signal at Mill Street and Telegraph Street is on-going with other construction on the Mill Street project. Traffic signal at South Meadows Boulevard and Wilbur May Boulevard construction to begin August 2022.
