Construction has been classified as an essential service by Governor Sisolak. Construction crews have implemented safety and social-distancing precautions.

  • Full roadway closure starting 4/12 through mid-June for roadway rehabilitation. Follow detour around construction project.

Packer Way and Wild Island Court Reconstruction:

  • Full roadway closure on Wild Island Court starting 4/12 through mid-May for roadway rehabilitation. Follow detour and business access signs for access to Outback Steakhouse and Cocoanut Bowl which are ope for business. Work on Packer Way will begin mid-May.

 

SUN VALLEY BOULEVARD MULTI-MODAL IMPROVEMENTS – PHASE 1: 7TH AVENUE TO HIGHLAND RANCH PARKWAY

Sun Valley Boulevard:

From Staci Way to Highland Ranch Parkway:

  • Construction completed: ADA Ramps, Curb & Gutter, Sidewalk and Drainage improvements.
  • Road open with no restrictions.

From Staci Way to 7th Avenue:

  • Raising utilities, stripping and miscellaneous work
  • Sun Valley Blvd OPEN (north/south)
  • Intermittent lane closures at 7th Ave intersection
  • Detours in place

Titan Electrical Contracting is apparent low bidder, contract will be awarded April 23rd and construction will begin May 30, 2021.

Sharlands Aveue and Mae Anne Aveue traffic signal is now operational, please use caution when traveling through the area as drivers get familiar with the new traffic operations.  The next phase of this project, restriping York at Pyramid will begin April 23rd.
