ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

Phase 1 – Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):
- One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard.
- Construction crews performing signal work, grade planters, landscaping and pave cycle track.
- New traffic pattern – travel lanes (one in each direction) shifted to the north side of Oddie Boulevard.
- Sullivan intersection will be closed from through Friday, May 5th. Vehicles traveling east and westbound along Oddie Boulevard will be detoured at Rock Boulevard and El Rancho Drive. Traffic traveling north and southbound along Sullivan will be detoured at Greenbrae Drive and Prater Way.
Phase 2 & 3 – Sullivan Lane (Sparks) to Sutro Street (Reno):
- One traffic lane in each direction will be maintained along Oddie Boulevard.
- Construction crews are continuing to work on installing underground light conduit, retaining wall, signals and fence removals. and storm drain installation.
- New traffic pattern – travel lanes (one in each direction) shifted to the south side of Oddie Boulevard from Sullivan Road to east of US-395 ramps.

SPARKS BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – SOUTH PHASE

TE SPOT 10 – SOUTH PROJECT (ROUNDABOUT INSTALLATION AT WOODLAND AVENUE/4TH STREET)

Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Woodland Avenue and W. 4th Street has resumed. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of August 2023.
Currently, lane reconfigurations and two-way traffic control on W. 4th Street and Woodland Avenue have been installed and will be maintained through approximately May 26th. Intermittent flagging operations at this intersection could cause delays of up to 20 minutes.
Mesa Park Road from W. 4th Street to 500 feet north is closed until approximately May 26th, while construction of a retaining wall below Mesa Park Road, the 4th Street westbound lanes and the northern portion of the roundabout occurs.
Normal construction hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
