RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR does not operate on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR service is provided by the RTC of Washoe County and the Carson City RTC.
Rides on RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR are paid in cash or with passes only. Drivers cannot make change. Please have exact change available when boarding, or purchase easy to use passes at many convenient pass outlets. Transfer free to RTC RIDE, RTC ACCESS, and JAC (Jump Around Carson). Discounts are available for youth (6-18), seniors (65+), and disabled riders. Reduced fares require special ID when boarding.
The Tahoe Area Regional Transit is operated by Placer County in the Lake Tahoe basin and is funded in part by the RTC. Route scheduling and planning is performed by TART in coordination with RTC. Visit the TART web site
Jump Around Carson (JAC)
JAC — Jump Around Carson — is the public transit system for the Carson City area. Transfer from RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR to JAC for FREE. Visit www.ridejac.com for more information or call JAC Dispatch at (775) 841-RIDE.
Tahoe Transportation District
Tahoe Transportation District is the public transit system connecting South Lake Tahoe and Carson City. Transfer from RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR to Tahoe Transportation District for free with an RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR transfer. A transfer must be requested when paying your fare. Transfers are only valid the date they are issued. Transfers may be used to board RTC RIDE or RTC ACCESS in Reno, or Tahoe Transportation Distric or JAC in Carson City. When using a 10-ride pass on either RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR or RTC RIDE, be sure to ask for a transfer at the time of boarding.
From RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR to RTC RIDE
Insert your RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR transfer into the RTC RIDE farebox. If you will be transferring again to reach your final destination, request your transfer back from the driver.
From RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR to JAC
Passengers transferring from RTC INTERCITY to JAC ride free for one trip. Request a transfer when boarding RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR.
From JAC to RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR
When transferring from JAC TO RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR, you pay a discounted RTC REGIONAL CONNECTOR fare. Request a transfer when boarding JAC.
