The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is hosting a community event to recognize and celebrate the completion of Phase 1 of the Oddie Wells Project. Phase 1 begins at Pyramid Way and concludes at Sullivan Lane along Oddie Boulevard. It features new lighting, landscaping, ADA improvements, pedestrian ramps, bicycle facilities, and a raised median for safer traffic operations.

The family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, June 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Grocery Outlet parking lot on the corner of Oddie Boulevard and Sullivan Lane.

“We’re excited for the public to see the beautiful revitalization efforts in person. This is a celebration of the first major milestone of the Oddie Wells Project, and it’s also an invitation to support the local businesses that contribute to this unique corridor,” said Maria Paz Fernandez, RTC project manager.

The event will feature live music, activities for families, food, drink, raffle prizes and entertainment. Entrance to the event is free.
