The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County encourages the community to Don’t Drive Arrive to the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off by taking a free shuttle, walking, biking, using rideshare, carpooling, or using public transportation to get to the event.

Free shuttle service is available from three locations:

–       204 Edison Way in Reno

o   Thursday, August 30 – Sunday, September 2 from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

o   Monday, September 3 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

–       Reno-Sparks Convention Center, Parking Lot C, 4590 S. Virginia St. in Reno

o   Thursday, August 30 – Sunday, September 2 from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

o   Monday, September 3 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

–       Reed High School*, 1350 Baring Blvd. in Sparks

(*Holiday weekend-only service. No shuttles from Reed High on Thursday or Friday)

o   Saturday, September 1 and Sunday, September 2 from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

o   Monday, September 3 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

LimeBikes can be picked up at the Larry D. Johnson Center at 1200 12th Street in Sparks, and the Sparks Marina at 300 Howard Drive. Both locations are less than a mile away from the venue. LimeBike parking is encouraged at the RTC CENTENNIAL PLAZA bus station, located at 15th and Victorian Avenue, and the Museum in Memorial Park, located at Pyramid Highway and C Street. Please do not bring LimeBikes into the event venue.
