Advanced-Mobility Plan

The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) is proposing the development of an Electric Vehicle and Alternative Fuel Infrastructure and Advanced- Mobility Plan to address existing electric vehicle infrastructure needs in the area as well as to best prepare for continued advances in mobility technology

Regional Transportation Plan (RTP)

The Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) defines the long-range planning policies and priorities for the community’s future transportation system. It is the region’s blueprint to maintaining access, mobility and clean air for our community.

Public Participation Plan

The Public Participation Plan articulates the RTC’s commitment to an open and transparent interface with the public and with relevant public agencies to support the regional transportation planning process.

Complete Streets Master Plan

The purpose of the Complete Streets Master Plan is to identify the RTC’s long range strategy for Complete Street treatments in the Reno‑Sparks metropolitan area.

Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan

The purpose of the Reno Sparks Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is to make the region as bicycle and pedestrian friendly as possible in order to encourage people of all ages, abilities, and means to walk and/or bicycle.


The Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) is the RTC’s five-year program of projects designed to implement short-term street and highway, transit, bicycle and pedestrian projects for Washoe County.
