This project consists of studying and developing alternatives for the Oddie/Wells Corridor based on the findings shown in the Corridor Study performed and approved in 2013 by the RTC. This is a Complete Streets project that includes safety improvements to several modes of transportation such as sidewalks, bike lanes, comfortable and accessible public transportation stops, frequent and safe crossing opportunities, median islands, accessible pedestrian signals, curb extensions, narrower travel lanes, and more.


Phase 1: Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks) construction completed by end of August 2023.

  • construction is substantially completed.
  • Traffic signal at Pyramid was installed and operating
  • Concrete median and landscape work being completed by Summer 2023

Phase 2: Sullivan Lane (Sparks) to east of US 395 ramps (Reno)
construction to be completed by the end of September 2023.

Phase 3: US 395 ramps to Sutro Street (Reno)
construction continues. Pavement completed and traffic will be shifted to the northside of Oddie Boulevard starting mid-September.

Phase 4: Sutro Street to I-80 ramps (Reno)
Underground work to start mid-August.
