The program is a multi-year effort to upgrade existing bus stops to comply with state and federal requirements, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The first phase of bus stop improvements located within public Right-of-Way (12 bus stops) is complete. The process of obtaining necessary easements for other locations is ongoing. The design consultant, CA Group submitted easement packages for 37 bus stop locations last year and acquisition work continues. Sixty percent (60%) Design was submitted for the final 90 bus stop locations. R/W for some bus stops has been acquired and we are moving forward with a Phase 2 Construction package that includes 30 bus stop locations.

Design is complete and the Right-of-Way process is on-going. Phase 2 construction package will be issued for bidding in April 2021. Construction of 30 bus stops shall be taking place June to September 2021.
