The RTC, in cooperation with the City of Reno, a major stakeholder, and other local agencies, is conducting a feasibility and conceptual alternatives analysis to determine options for the rehabilitation or replacement of the two Arlington Avenue Bridges at the Truckee River.

The Mill Street Capacity and Safety project limits are from Yori Avenue to Terminal Way, and is approximately 1 mile in total length. Proposed improvements include widening Mill Street from west of Kietzke Lane to the I-580 southbound entrance ramp, a dedicated right turn from eastbound Mill Street to southbound 1-580, and a new signalized intersection at Mill Street and Golden Lane in conjunction with the closure of Mill Street access from Redwood Place and Louise Street.
